Newport Cottages has announced the creation of Special Edition Hope Crib to Benefit Breast Cancer Research. 10% of the retail price of the crib will be donated to the Susan G Komen Foundation. To commemorate each donation and serve as a reminder of its purpose, each “Hope” Crib will come with a custom plaque for the owners to inscribe a sentiment of their choosing.

According to the American Cancer Society about 1 in 8 women in the United States (between 12 and 13%) will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime. For women in the U.S., breast cancer death rates are higher than any other cancer, besides lung cancer.

To celebrate our recent move to Cherry Creek North, we will host an open house, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, August 15!

The day will feature fun for parents and children alike.  Local author, speaker and mother or three, Amy Sampson, will sign copies of her inspiring and informative book, Mamma Mania:  Managing the Craze of 0-5 Year Olds, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon and Su-Z-Q-Z the clown will hand paint children’s faces with amazing designs from 11 am. to 3 p.m.  Product giveaways will be held throughout the day and customers will receive $10 in Firefly Bucks for every $100 spent on in-stock merchandise.

We’re moving to Cherry Creek North on July 1!  After months of lease negotiations and new space explorations, we found a wonderful new space in Cherry Creek North.  Moving to Cherry Creek North will put us in the heart of city shopping and will give us added space to enhance our baby gear – strollers, car seats, baby slings, diaper bags and more – product offerings.

The new location, at the northwest corner of 3rd and Columbine, includes parking behind the building and first floor sidewalk entry.   Come see is in Lowry though June 25.  We will be closed from June 26-June 30 for the move and will re-open in Cherry Creek North on July 1.  Shop online anytime!
